I am an Early Childhood Teacher, just like you. I get excited about the spaces I create in the classroom, and the conversations my team and I have with children and each other. I have a passion for mentoring center staff to feel a sense of empowerment, to collaborate, to be creative in creating inviting and aesthetic spaces linked to an authentic, collaborative, deep thinking program that goes beyond stencils, cut outs and weekly themes, elevating children's learning and wonderings.

I am a co-researcher alongside children and my colleagues with a passion of setting a strong social and emotional foundation for young children. Children develop their social and emotional understanding from birth and as they become increasingly aware, they need tools to support their understanding and feelings. I have developed an Early Years Emotional Literacy program that has proven effectiveness in not only empowering children and educators, but also families in understanding children's emotional and social development. This has supported educators and families in behaviour management as well as creating a safe space for children to collaborate, and share thinking with each other.
